C.G. Johnson Donates to Historical Society
June 11, 2014
REYNOLDSVILLE- It has become a tradition at C.G. Johnson Elementary School to have a talent show each spring showcasing the many talents of the students. The students “vote” for the talent they like best with coins. Every year the money is then donated to a worthy cause. This year, the money went to the Reynoldsville Historical Society for the town’s new museum.

Representing the Historical society, as well as performing during the talent show with his banjo, was Gene Deible. Representing the PTA, who sponsors the event, was Mrs. Corine Snyder.

The winners were first place Mya Knapp, singing Royals; second place went to Chloe Neal and Navaeh Kiefer dancing to Beautiful Soul; and third place went to Jaylen Hallowell and Ruth Kolash playing the piano and singing Ho Hey. Shown, front row,, from left are Neal and Kiefer. Middle row, from left, are Hallowell, Kolash and Knapp. Back row, from left, are Principal Ed Dombroski, Snyder and Deible.
