Reynoldsville Asking for Opinions

June 19, 2014
REYNOLDSVILLE- Reynoldsville is a blueprint community. This allows them access to state grants and loans to improve the condition of the borough. Community members are being asked to fill out a survey which will help them decide what projects the borough will focus.

Gene Deible said “It is my opinion that we are very fortunate to have this.”Gene Deible said at last night borough council meeting. He explained that 66 communities applied and only 6 were chosen. Curwensville was also one of the six chosen. This project has been offered once before for the Eastern part of the state.

Deible said, “We have out right now a survey to get an idea of what perceptions people have of this town, what perceptions they have of things that need to be done, and hopefully from this we can at least get some kind of a direction and some kind of group projects.”

Surveys can be found at local businesses or taken online at www.communityblueprints.com. Paper surveys can be turned into Joe Ryan’s office or the Borough council office in the library. Community members have until June 26th to complete the form.
