Fugitive of the Week  – Paul Ulrich

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County's Fugitive of the Week for the week of July 21, 2014.Shaw identified the Fugitive as Paul Eugene Ulrich, age 32, of Grove Avenue, Johnstown, Pennsylvania.                                                                                                     

Shaw stated that Ulrich is wanted for failure to appear at Plea and Sentencing Court on May 19, 2014.

On May 6, 2013, Patrolman C.D. Panebianco of the Lawrence Township Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Ulrich with: 1) Retail Theft, F3, 2 Counts; and 2) Receiving Stolen Property, F3, 2 Counts.

An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Patrolman Panebianco states that on September 19, 2012, the Lawrence Township Police Department received a report of a theft from a business located on Plaza Drive, Clearfield. Upon investigation it was found that Ulrich and two other individuals had unlawfully removed items from that store that were valued at approximately $1,200.00. It was also found that Ulrich and the two individuals had unlawfully removed items valued at approximately $900.00 from another Clearfield business.          

A Preliminary Hearing was scheduled for October 2, 2013, at which time all charges were held for Court. On May 19, 2014, Ulrich failed to appear for Plea and Sentencing Court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Sex: Male

Height: 5'10"

Eyes: Brown

Hair: Brown
