FALLS CREEK - A man attempting to escape police suffered moderate injuries in an accident Tuesday on west Long Avenue in Dubois. Twenty-three-year-old Austin Smith of Falls Creek was attempting to flee Sandy Township Police when he lost control of his motorcycle, impacting an embankment and becoming airborne. Smith then slid through a field and impacted a tree.
