Q & A with Carissa Wilcox Growing up: I was born in the home of “The Office” – Scranton, PA! Bounced around PA and OH for a while and landed in DuBois, PA in 6th grade.
Getting into radio: Well, I was in a dead sleep one hot July morning when my sister woke me up and begged me to be on Sunny 106 covering their softball games for the state championship. Keep in mind I had NO previous experience. At first I was really confused and then thought, hey why not? I did it, they liked it and now here I am!
Career Highlight: My experience in radio is limited, so I'll go with a previous career highlight and that was attending the 7th Heaven Christmas party in 2005 with the entire cast and crew.
One person in history you would like to meet: Jesus.
Three dinner guests: Britney Spears, Kate Gosselin and Peter Berg. (Why not?!)
Favorite singer or group: Hmm…there are a lot – can I go with Justin Timberlake?
Favorite movie: Again, a lot. Probably William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet.
Favorite T.V. Show: I don’t know that I’ve met a TV show I didn’t like. But…if I have to pick just one: Friday Night Lights, hands down.
Words to live by: Life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you deal with it. - my dad.
Favorite Food: Can I go with my least favorite food? Fish.
Beverage of choice: Coke
Hobbies: Watching television, going to movies, watching sports (live and on tv), playing games, scrapbooking.
Life Goal: To leave a lasting impression on those around me.
Greatest Fear: I’m really very scared of fish.
