Falls Creek Seeks Emergency Water Source
Tuesday, December 04, 2012

FALLS CREEK - The Falls Creek borough is seeking a secondary water source with the help of Sandy Township. The supervisors last night said they received a letter from the borough advising them that DEP has required them to find a secondary source of water in case of an emergency. It is proposed to run a line from slab run to the hydrant at the Pine Inn which is about one thousand feet. The borough uses 150 thousand gallons of water per day. Township Manager Dick Castonguay was given permission by the board last night to begin negotiations.
