Citizens Posed Questions to the Supervisors Last night
Friday, July 30, 2010

SNYDER TOWNSHIP - It was standing room only at the Snyder Township supervisors meeting last night. Many in attendance were wearing lime green shirts, identifying them as "Concerned Citizens" in regard to the Just for Jesus Ministry. Citizens posed questions to the supervisors in regard to township ordinances on issues involving guidelines for housing offenders and the need to set a cap on the number of enrollees at places like Just for Jesus. Supervisor Fred Bearfield reminded residents that similar concerns had been passed along by supervisors to the Jefferson County Commissioners back in may. He also noted that in the eyes of the law, no one at Just for Jesus is illegal.
