National Fuel Gas Supply Charge to Increase Beginning Sunday

DuBois-PA- National Fuel Gas Company has announced beginning Sunday, August 1st, a 20 percent increase will be added to the gas supply charge. The increase for a typical residential customer will increase the bill from just over $76 dollars to more than $91 dollars. One of the main reasons for the increase according to National Fuel officials is the market price for natural gas is projected to be greater than the current prices reflected in rates through July of 2011.
 
 
 
Inmate at Houtzdale Correctional Institute Found Dead

Houtzdale-PA- An investigation is underway at the Houtzdale Correctional Institute in Clearfield County after an inmate was found dead. The 41 year old man from Chester Springs, Pennsylvania was found dead Friday morning. No word on a cause. 
 
 
 
Reynoldsville Truck Driver Involved in Indiana County Accident

Plumville, PA- No word if he was injured, but a Reynoldsville man driving a tractor trailer carrying coal was involved in an accident Thursday afternoon in Plumville Borough, Indiana County. It happened when George Yager from Plumville crossed the center line on Main Street and hit a tractor trailer head-on. Harry Swab Jr. of Reynoldsville was the driver of the tractor trailer hit. No word if he was injured.
