Bus Crashes into Home

JEFFERSON COUNTY - Five people
suffer minor injuries while riding on a school bus Friday afternoon. According
to Punxsutawney-based state police, sixty-six year old Larry Torrell of Punxsutawney,
was driving a 2013 Thomas Built, Punxsutawney area school bus north on Route
119 near Water Street when the bus left the road, hit a utility pole, a small
tree and then the porch of a house. Torrell's
passenger's, fifty-six year old Joyce Penrod of Punxsutawney, a sixteen year
old girl, an eleven year old boy and a thirteen year old boy were taken to Punxsutawney
area hospital.
