Noise Ordinance Request for DuBois

DUBOIS - Community members spoke up for a noise ordinance last night at the DuBois city council meeting. Ken Kepple, owner of the east side sports bar, says a noise ordinance would provide fair guidelines for bars, businesses and homes in DuBois and also a chance for revenue from fines. City Manager John “Herm” Suplizio says a noise ordinance would be something good for DuBois to have. Solicitor Toni Cherry plans to work on a noise ordinance for the end of March.
