Man Behind Bars for Local Woman’s Death

CLARION - A 29-year-old man is in jail after killing a teenager. Nineteen year-old Devan Knap of Brookville went missing then found dead in early January. Clarion state police say Shawn Carr of Kittanning was charged with third degree murder, drug delivery, resulting in death, abuse of a corpse and more. According to WTAJ News, Carr injected heroine into Knapp’s body, but did not take her to the hospital due to a warrant out for his arrest. instead, Carr allegedly drove Knapp’s body to Millcreek Township and staged the scene to seem like she overdosed.
