Local Man Charged for Forgery and Stealing
CLEARFIELD - A Clearfield man is behind bars for writing more than twenty five bad checks. State police say 40-year-old Eric Decker wrote forged checks to several Clearfield businesses such as Bob's Army and Navy, Grice Gun Shop, Eagle Haven and more. He was charged with theft by deception and theft for unlawful taking. Police also say he had a stolen dirt bike for sale on eBay. When questioned, Decker said he didn't know what they were talking about.
