Pennsylvania Exceeds Two Trillion Cubic Feet with Drilling

HARRISBURG - Pennsylvania broke a new record for Marcellus Shale oil and gas drilling last year. According to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Pennsylvania exceeded two trillion cubic feet from 57,000 unconventional production wells while drilling between July and December. Authorities say Pennsylvania is one of the top five states for natural gas production.
