Two Local Men Will Head to Court for a Teenís Death

CLARION - Preliminary hearings have been scheduled for two men accused of killing an area girl. Shawn Carr of Kittanning and Joel Stark of Rimersburg are alleged to be responsible for the death Devan Knapp of Brookville in early January. As we reported, Carr was charged with third degree murder, drug delivery which resulted in death, abuse of a corpse and more. Officials say stark was charged with abuse of a corpse and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence. Stark says he watched Carr of Kittanning inject Knapp with heroin and told him to take Knapp to the hospital, but Carr would not due to a warrant out for his arrest. stark and Carr drove knaps body to Summerville drive and set the scene to appear as if Knapp overdosed on her own. Hearings will be in a courtroom at the Clarion County Jail Thursday, March 21 at 9 a.m.
