Council will hold a Public Seismic Testing Meeting
Tuesday, March 12, 2013

DUBOIS - Several residents addressed the issue of seismic testing at the DuBois City Council meeting last night. Residents asked city council who would be liable if the testing caused damage and if the issue could be put on the primary election ballot. City Solicitor Toni Cherry says Seitel Incorporated would be liable for any damage caused by their actions, not the landowners. Cherry says it's too late to add a referendum to the primary ballot. A public hearing is scheduled for next Tuesday, March 19 at 7 p.m.
