Local Woman Allegedly Spends Employer’s Rent Monies

CLEARFIELD - A 31-year-old Clearfield woman allegedly stole more than nine thousand dollars from her employer. The woman worked at the Dimeling Senior Center in Clearfield where she was responsible for collecting rent monies. Police say she allegedly did not deposit tenants rent monies in the bank and kept the money for herself. Police say the woman was charged with theft by unlawful taking, theft by failure to make required disposition of funds received, receiving stolen property and forgery.
