|DuBois Club Manager Faces Gambling Violations

DUBOIS - The manager of a DuBois club has been charged with gambling violations. Sixty-one year old Robert Johnson of DuBois has been charged with dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities, gambling services and filing false reports to law enforcement officials at the Swedish American Club Home Association. Officers from the State Police Bureau of Liquor Enforcement conducted an undercover investigation and discovered bartenders paying patrons who had won games on poker machines, then clearing the credits and splitting the money with the club.
