BROOKVILLE - Parkers and barkers in Brookville beware: violations of the two hour parking limit along Main Street and the pet law ordinance will begin to be aggressively enforced. Police chief Ken Dworek believes people are "feeding" the meters and leaving their vehicles parked in the same spot all day when each meter has a two-hour limit. The issue of raising parking fines was turned over to the street committee. As for the pet ordinance violations, Dworek says people are not cleaning up after their dogs after allowing them defecate on public and private property. Those who violate the ordinance could face fines of up to $600 and imprisonment.
