PUNXSUTAWNEY - Police are investigating several burglaries that have happened at Punxsutawney businesses. Police say a suspect was caught on camera Monday night while breaking into Lily's Restaurant along West Mahoning Street. The suspect is described to be a white male wearing blue jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt and black sneakers. Police say he left with a small amount of money. Lily’s Restaurant has not been the only Punxsutawney business that has been burglarized recently. Within the past few weeks, the ISDA Club, Subway, Kwik Fill and Walker's Auto Parts have been broken into as well. Police say it is crucial for residents to call them for any suspicious activity such as strangers standing on street corners or driving around in neighborhoods. Anyone with information about any of these burglaries is asked to call 938-6220.
