Penn State Chancellor Address Graduates
Monday, May 6, 2013
It was a message
of encouragement for Penn State Dubois graduates at Saturday’s commencement
ceremony. Distinguished professor of English Richard Kopley
delivered the address to those receiving associate
and baccalaureate degrees over the weekend.
Chancellor Melanie Hatch conferred degrees to the graduates, and
offered her own words of encouragement, noting that
getting a degree is no small feat and takes hard work and dedication. She noted that Saturday was the day grads
could celebrate the fruits of their labor, with an education that could help
them thrive in both a career and in life.
