House Bill 440 Moves to Senate

HARRISBURG - Legislation that would reform the state's corporate tax structure to attract businesses and improve the economic climate has been passed by the Pennsylvania house.  Pennsylvania now has the highest corporate net income tax rate in the country, and house speaker Sam Smith said this bill is designed to spur economic growth and job creation by making the commonwealth's tax structure competitive with other states.  House bill 440 now moves to the senate for consideration.
