DUBOIS - Parents stepped forward during yesterday’s school board meeting to discuss their concerns about multi grade classrooms. Our news team reporter Jessica Illuzzi has more. Concerns about the multi grade classes at Sykesville elementary were discussed at yesterday’s school board meeting.  New superintendant mark Heckman said the board considers what is best for everyone when making the hard decisions like combining grades or closing schools. The vote about closing Hilland elementary will occur Friday at noon.  Yesterday’s meeting was also the last for superintendant Tim Delluccia.
