Senator Prevented from Making Remarks to Supreme Court

PHILADELPHIA - An openly gay state lawmaker wants the legislature to censure an archconservative colleague who prevented him from making floor remarks after the Supreme Courtís gay marriage ruling. Philadelphia representative Brian Sims asked the chamber to reprimand Representative Daryl Metcalfe at the close of session yesterday after Metcalfe told WHYY-fm that Sims' comments would have been "open rebellion against god's law."
