Area Woman Escapes Injury in Accident

JEFFERSON COUNTY - A Reynoldsville
woman escaped injury after her vehicle impacted a phone pole and rolled down an
embankment in the overnight hours yesterday.
Twenty-eight year old Amy Rittenhouse was traveling on state route 310
in Young Township, Jefferson County when she attempted to avoid a deer and hit
the guide rails. Her vehicle traveled on
top of the guide rail for nearly 100 feet, and then hit the utility pole and
rolled down the embankment.
