Harrisburg- A spokeswoman for Gov. Tom Corbett says his office will amend his annual financial disclosure statement to include a $265,000 condo in the beachfront resort community in Hilton Health Island, S.C. purchased last year.
Public records obtained through an open-records request show the deed and mortgage documents were filed in December for the condo in a beachfront resort community in Hilton Health Island, S.C. ,ut Corbett did not report the transaction as required by a 1984 executive order known as the Governor's Code of Conduct.
Corbett spokeswoman Kelli Roberts initially said the governor was confused by language on the reporting form that excludes a principal residence and thought he could exclude the vacation home.
