Jailed for Allegedly Stabbing Woman

BROCKWAY - A Brockway man is in jail
after assaulting and stabbing a woman.
David Strong was engaged in a verbal argument with a woman at a home on
coal glen road in Washington Township, Jefferson County when he's alleged to
have pushed her to the floor and assaulted her.
State police say strong then stabbed the woman in the back. She fled the residence on foot and hid. Strong found the woman who continued to run
to two different homes for help. She was
found by ems personnel and taken to the DuBois regional medical center for
treatment. Strong fled the scene but was
later located and taken into custody.
He's been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, terroristic
threats and other charges. Strong is
currently in the Jefferson county jail on $250,000 bail.
