Ride to Raise Money
Saturday, September 28, 2013
HARRISBURG - State Senator John Wozniak will be the co-grand marshal of the motorcycle ride to Gettysburg, an annual ride that raises money for the Pennsylvania monuments fund, today (Saturday).  Throughout the past 12 years, abate of Pennsylvania has raised more than $125,000 during the rides. In addition to maintaining the Gettysburg monuments, funds will go toward restoring the Daniel Lady farm on Hanover road. The farm was a field hospital, and the site holds much civil war history. Along with Wozniak, Pennsylvania Supreme Court justice Seamus McCaffery will serve as co-grand marshal. More than 250 participated in last year's ride to Gettysburg.
