Sandy Township Hopes for Peace with Treasure Lake
October 8, 2013
SANDY TOWNSHIP- Sandy Township supervisors hope the ruling by the judge not to separate Treasure lake from Sandy Township will lead to peace so they can work together to make improvements.

“I know everyone is aware of what the judge ruled. I think we are all happy the judge used his wisdom to rule the way he did. I would hope now we could extend a hand to treasure lake to sit down and work together and also try to change some legislation to try to ease some of the restrictions on the PRDs.” Supervisor Dave Sylvis said. “We are finally at a point where we can relax for a few seconds and work together to make it better.”

Paving on Clear Run Road will begin today. There will be one lane open with flaggers in place. The Supervisors ask that people try to avoid the area if possible.

Hydrant Flushing in Sandy Township should be completed by Wednesday.
