The Friendship Hose Company # 1 of Falls Creek is always looking for dedicated individuals Age 15 and up living in or around the Falls Creek Borough or Washington Township areas. You do not have to fight fires to belong. There are many other positions and/or ways to help. Down to Earth Garden Club Recruiting New Members

For the past 15 years the Down to Earth Garden Club has been keeping DuBois blooming. The group maintains the Beaver Meadow Walkway beds, the DuBois Public Library, a butterfly bed at Parker Dam and many other flower beds around town. The club also promotes gardening with advice and support for programs throughout the community.

Volunteer Positions Open - The Red Cross Needs You

The PA Heartland Chapter has an urgent need for dedicated volunteers to fill both leadership and support positions in all areas of service in Jefferson, Elk, Cameron, and most of Clearfield County.

These positions include Disaster Team Captains and team members in communities throughout our four county service area. Also needed are Blood Drive Day Chairs in the Brockway, Clearfield, and DuBois Areas and Blood Drive support positions including greeters, walkers, and canteens in all communities.

Additional volunteer positions are available for event and fundraising in all communities.

Red Cross volunteers receive specialized training, leadership experience, networking connections and service opportunities.
