District to Benefit from $7.8 Million in State Economic Development Grants

of the first floor (8,335 square feet) of the Seneca Building to create the
Marilyn Horne Exhibit Center.
Light Behavioral Health Systems (Children’s Home of Bradford) -- $3 million to build a
7,300 square foot bedroom addition to a residential building, including site
work, grading, courtyard, plantings, and utility service upgrades. The
project also includes renovation of the administration building, including a
7,000 square foot addition for a training center, and construction of a
90-space parking area and retaining wall.
Technical Training Center -- $1 million to transform and rehabilitate an
existing 75,000 square foot building into a modern multi-use building providing
opportunities through education, the arts, health care facilities, apartments,
and a café. The project will employ more than 50 individuals, provide
educational and job training programs to approximately 200 individuals, offer
living accommodations to 30 individuals, and make health care services to many
