New Paving Project, Resigning Police Officer
& DRMC is Staying in DuBois

DuBOIS- The City of DuBois is planning to pave
Clark Street a currently unpaved street near Shower Field. When an unpaved road
is paved the city splits the costs with the residents. A third of the project is
paid for by the city and a third is paid for by each side of the street.Iin the
case of this project, the city will pay
two thirds because they own the property on one side of the street.
could begin as early as May or later in the summer. Because the plan to pave Clark Street is set, the Council is taking the time to send out notices to the residents in the area. City Manager Herm Suplizio said, this will give people time to incorporate the payments they will owe later into their budgets now.
