CLEARFIELD- The Fugitive of the week is Paul
Eugene Ulrich of Grove Avenue, Johnston. A warrant
was issued for Ulrich after he failed to appear for court February 20.
Police say Ulrich and two other individuals unlawfully
removed items from a store on Plaza Drive in Clearfield in September and previously took items from another Clearfield

A. Shaw, Jr., announced that Ulrich was the Clearfield County's Fugitive of the
Week for the week of March 10, 2014.
On May 6, 2013, Patrolman C.D. Panebianco of
the Lawrence Township Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging
Ulrich with: 1) Retail Theft, F3, 2 Counts; and 2) Receiving Stolen Property,
F3, 2 Counts.
An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by
Patrolman Panebianco states that on September 19, 2012, the Lawrence Township
Police Department received a report of a theft from a business located on Plaza
Drive, Clearfield. Upon investigation it was found that Ulrich and two other
individuals had unlawfully removed items from a store on Plaza Drive in
Clearfield that were valued at approximately $1,200. It was also found that
Ulrich and the two individuals had unlawfully removed items valued at
approximately $900.00 from another Clearfield business.
A Preliminary Hearing was scheduled for
October 2, 2013, at which time all charges were held for Court. On February 20,
2014, Ulrich failed to appear for Jury Selection and a warrant was issued for
Ulrich is described as follows:
