Tip Leads to FOW Capture
– On March 6th Police apprehended a fugitive, 30 year old James Casey Lockett,
of Ramey, who was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list in
October. He failed to appear for court after being charged with stealing an
ATV. An anonymous tip to the Clearfield County Crime Stoppers provided police
with Lockett’s location at a residence in Madera. Lockett attempted to flee the
residence. Police were able to apprehended Lockett, and he was taken into
County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a
wanted fugitive James Casey Lockett, age 30, of Maple Street, Ramey, Pennsylvania.

2013. On July 16, 2013, Trooper Justin Yost of the Pennsylvania State Police,
Clearfield Barracks, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Lockett with Receiving
Stolen Property, F3.
Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Trooper Yost states that on May 9, 2013,
the Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to a residence on Maple Street,
Gulich Township, for the report of a stolen ATV. Upon investigation it was
found that a witness had observed Lockett operating the ATV, and the ATV was
subsequently located at Lockett's residence. The ATV is valued at approximately
