Moderate Injuries In Single Vehicle Accident

Perry Township, Indiana County- A Punxsutawney man sustained moderate injuries following a single vehicle accident early Saturday morning.  25 year old Huston Yeaney was traveling along State Route 536 in Perry Township, Indiana County when he attempted to make a left turn too fast.  His vehicle spun, rolled over, and then struck a Penn Dot sign.  Yeaney was ejected from the vehicle. No word on his condition.
Reynoldsville Man Received Moderate Injuries In Crash

Winslow Township, Jefferson County- A Reynoldsville man sustained moderate injuries in a one vehicle crash last week in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.  20 year old Dillion Uhl of Reynoldsville was traveling along Wayne Road when he lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the roadway.  A passenger in the vehicle, 22 year old Dustin Walters, also of Reynoldsville, sustained moderate injuries.  Charges are pending in the incident.
Burglary At Punxsy Moose Club

Punxsutawney, PA-  State Police are investigating a burglary over the weekend at the Punxsutawney Moose Club.  According to police, someone gained access to the building and removed $1,000 in cash.  Anyone with any information is asked to contact police.

A Township Employee in Clearfield County Charged With Embezzlement

Goshin Township, Clearfield County - A former employee of Goshen Township in Clearfield County was charged yesterday after she allegedly embezzled money back in March. 48-year-old Lisa Baumgartner of Shawville was charged after an  investigation found that while an employee of Goshen Township, she created a bank account and had fraudulently transferred funds into the account for her own personal use. It was also found that Baumgartner had forged the names of the township supervisors on the application for the bank account. In addition, state police found she also issued checks to herself and had made unauthorized purchases using township funds. The total amount that stolen was approximately $7 thousand dollars. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 14th.
Clearfield County Announces Fugitive of the Week

Clearfield -   The Clearfield County District Attorney's office has announced details concerning the Clearfield County "fugitive of the week". On august 25th of this year, Lawrence Township police arrested 31 year old Christine Saldukas of Clearfield for attempting to steal merchandise from a business near exit 120 of interstate 80. When Saldukas failed to appear for a preliminary hearing last week, a warrant was issued for her arrest. Copper Theft in Centre County

Philipsburg - State police at Philipsburg is investigating a theft by unlawful taking which occurred in Taylor Township, Centre County, sometime between October 5th and October 18th a First Energy Penelec and Sandy Ridge Wind LLC became the victims of the theft when an unknown person arrived at a substation just off of Gardner lane and gained entry to the fenced-in enclosure. Once inside, the suspects proceeded to cut copper grounding wires from numerous structures. Approximately 200 feet of bare copper grounding wire worth approximately $300 was removed from the site. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact state police at Philipburg.
