FOW: Jeremy Kromer

CLEARFIELD Ė Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County's Fugitive of the Week for the week of April 7, 2014.Shaw identified the Fugitive as Jeremy John Kromer, age 33, of Kromer Road, DuBois, Pennsylvania.

Shaw stated that Kromer is wanted for failure to appear at Pretrial Conferences on March 27, 2014.

On September 10, 2013, Trooper Michael Pisarchick of the Pennsylvania State Police, Auto Theft Unit, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Kromer with: 1) Receiving Stolen Property, F2; 2) Receiving Stolen Property, F3, 2 Counts; and 3) Receiving Stolen Property, M1.

An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Trooper Pisarchick states that the Pennsylvania State Police received information that Kromer was in possession of a stolen cargo trailer and two stolen chainsaws, and that the items were located on the property of Kromerís father on Kromer Road in DuBois. A search of the property resulted in the finding of two stolen trailers, two stolen chainsaws, and two stolen firearms. Upon investigation it was found that Kromer had been in possession of the stolen items that had been located on the property. The stolen items were valued at approximately $24,250.00.

A Preliminary Hearing was scheduled for October 11, 2013, at which time all charges were held for Court. On March 27, 2014, Kromer failed to appear for Pretrial Conferences and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
