Cooper Township Polling Place Change

April 9, 2014- Jessica Illuzzi
COOPER TWP.- The Clearfield County Board of Elections has moved the Cooper Township 2nd precinct polling place.

The former location was the Forest Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 302 Winburne Munson Road, Morrisdale. They have had water and heating issues so the polling location had to be been moved to the St. John Lutheran Church on the same street, 3471 Winburne Munson Road. This is a permanent change.

Dawn graham Director of Elections said that after careful consideration they feel that these options meet all the necessary requirements needed for a polling place, such as handicap accessibility and ample parking. She and the Clearfield county commissioners said they are grateful for all the years Forest Emmanuel United Methodist Church has hosted the polling place and thanked everyone involved in the move.

Objections, questions or concerns can be submitted by April 21st in writing to

Dawn Graham, Director of Elections

212 E Locust Street

Clearfield PA, 16830

or by email at elections@clearfieldco.org

If there are no objections the commissioners will approve the change April 22nd.
