CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District
Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County's Fugitive of the
Week for the week of April 28, 2014.
Shaw identified the Fugitive as Robert
William Wills, age 57, of Stahls Lane, Tyrone, Pennsylvania.
Shaw stated that Wills is wanted for failure
to appear at Plea and Sentencing Court on March 25, 2014.
On September 16, 2013, Trooper Richard
Breakey of the Pennsylvania State Police, DuBois Barracks, filed a Criminal
Complaint charging Wills with: 1) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, M; 2)
Drivers Required to be Licensed, S; and 3) Driving On Roadways Laned for
An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by
Trooper Breakey states that on August 12, 2013, the Pennsylvania State Police
received a report of a vehicle driving erratically on Interstate 80. Trooper
Breakey located the vehicle and observed it swerving on the roadway. A traffic
stop was then conducted on the vehicle. Upon making contact with the driver of
the vehicle, Breakey detected signs of impairment and Wills was transported to
the DuBois Regional Medical Center for blood testing.
A Preliminary Hearing was scheduled for October
25, 2013, at which time all charges were held for Court. On March 25, 2014,
Wills failed to appear for Plea and Sentencing Court and a warrant was issued
for his arrest.
