New Research Center looking for Funding

April 30, 2014
CLEARFIELD- The Clearfield County Historical Society has announced its capital campaign to fund the William B. Alexander V Research Center.

With the help of the Alexander family they purchased a building for the new Research Center. The new Alexander Research Center will provide an up-to-date facility, which will house genealogical and historical records for the county.

CCHS President Dennis Shaffner said the society hopes the new facility will be something that all citizens of Clearfield County will view as a resource. Now the project requires $200,000 in order to complete all the work to the building.
