CLEARFIELD – It’s the 161st Annual Clearfield County Fair this week. Gates and exhibition buildings open at 11am and the carnival rides start up at Noon. Click here for a full schedule of events. Gate admission for the Clearfield County Fair is $8 per person, and parking at the Fairgrounds is $4.
The 2022 Clearfield County Fair Queen is 18-year-old McKenna Rummel of Mahaffey. Rummel was crowned yesterday by the reigning Queen, Chloe Neal. Selected as First Runner-up was Breanna McCahan of Olanta. Emily Smeal of Curwensville was Second Runner-up, and named the Third Runner-up was Eva Bloom of DuBois. Congratulations to this year’s Queen and her Court!
Monday: Harness racing will be featured on the Grandstands oval track starting at 1pm. The always-popular Clearfield County Fair Parade steps off along Clearfield’s Market and Weaver Streets with a fire whistle start at 6pm. The evening will be capped off with a fireworks display at the Fairgrounds.
Tuesday: It will be a great day for everyone at the Clearfield County Fair today! Especially for the youngest and the oldest among us — It’s Kids Day and Senior Citizen Day at the fair. Admission to the Fairgrounds is free to everyone from 9am until 11am, and free for seniors ages 65 and up between 10am and 6pm.
At the Grandstand this evening harness racing gets started at 5:30pm, and then the night will finish with a main stage concert by local favorites, The Moore Brothers.
Wednesday: Fans of 70s and 80s Rock music are looking forward to tonight’s main show at the Clearfield County Fair.
The band, Foreigner, takes the Grandstand stage at 8pm to perform some of their big hits like “Cold As Ice” and “I Want to Know What Love Is.” Foreigner has sold more than 80 million albums since 1977.
Thursday: Today is another Senior Citizen Day at the Clearfield County Fair.
Admission is free for those 65 and older from 10am until 6pm. The carnival rides open at Noon today at the 161st Annual Clearfield County Fair. Beef and dairy steers judging will begin at 4:30pm, and there will be Grove Stage performances throughout the day by Tom Crowl and Heather Olson.
Then tonight, it’s the power and roar of a Truck and Tractor Pull at the Grandstand starting at 7pm.
Friday: Today is Military Day at the 161st Annual Clearfield County Fair. Admission is free from 10am until 6pm for those who are active members or veterans of the U.S. armed services. The carnival rides open at Noon, and there will be Grove Stage performances throughout the day by Chainsaw Carver Jennifer Black, and Kopper and Kash. The 4-H and FFA awards will be announced at the Joe Wriglesworth Show Arena at 6pm.
Then it’s your second and final chance to experience the power and roar of a Truck and Tractor Pull at the Grandstand starting at 7pm.
