Brockway, PA – Tonight and tomorrow (Tuesday and Wednesday, April 14 and 15) in Brockway from 8 until 9:30 p.m., Brockway Area School District will be burning the stadium lights for the class of 2020 and the students of Brockway School District.
According to Peter Grecco, the athletic director, they are lighting up the stadium as a symbol of hope and an assurance that students are in their hearts and minds.
They’re calling it the Be The Light Challenge.
If you see the stadium lights on, please be aware that no game is being played. It is a symbolic gesture for the students of Brockway.
If you would like to show your support too and live in Brockway, you can also turn on your house’s porchlight to celebrate the Be The Light Challenge.
