DuBois, PA – Thank you to everyone who donated to our Blankets of Hope for the Homeless drive!
With your help, our final count was 205. That’s 205 blankets that will be given to local people who are staying in places like tents, cars, or abandoned properties.
Blankets were also given to those who have shelter but don’t have adequate heat. The Free Medical Clinic of DuBois still has some for those in need over the cold winter months.
Listen to the full interview with Dolly McCluskey, executive director of the DuBois Free Medical Clinic.
We were able to send some blankets to Agape for the DuBois Mission Street House, Treasure Lake Church if they need to open up for a warming shelter, the Haven House, and Pentz Run.
Thanks to everyone who donated and to the Family Dollar, which had been a drop-off point.
