Brockway, PA – The Brockway Area Jr./Sr. High School has been notified that 4 – 6 confirmed cases exist within a two week rolling window and will now need to comply with the state closure mandate. For this reason, the Jr./Sr. High School will be closed to all students and visitors from Tuesday, February 9, 2021 through Wednesday, February 10, 2021. All home events in the Jr./Sr. High School Building for the next two days will be cancelled & rescheduled if possible. Away events will continue as scheduled. School will resume In-Person Instruction on Thursday, February 11, 2021.
Our custodial staff will complete all cleaning and disinfecting this evening, and the administrative staff has notified all individuals who were in close contact. Teachers will report to their classrooms on February 9, 2021 to facilitate instruction through the use of Google classroom. Students will follow their class schedule for attendance and grading purposes.
Chromebooks have been distributed to those students who requested them when the district moved to the Blended Model. However, if you are now in need of a device, contact the main office of the Jr./Sr. High School to make arrangements for pickup.
