Treasure Lake – The Fire Sub-Committee representing the DuBois-Sandy Township Consolidation Joint Committee made a presentation to the Treasure Lake Board last night.
Treasure Lake’s Northpoint Fire Company is one of the stations which will be housed in a new building when the nine current fire companies in DuBois and Sandy Township become five after consolidation.
Discussions about a location to build the new fire hall seem focused on Route 255 near the front gate of Treasure Lake.
