Pennsylvania – You can now order a second batch of free at-home COVID-19 testing kits from the US government.

The website, COVIDtests.gov, allows you to sign up and send the kits directly to your home for no cost, with no shipping fee.

Back in January, each residential address could request one order of four kits.

Starting this week, each address can request an additional four COVID-19 test kits for free.

To order, visit COVIDtests.org and click “Order Free At-Home Tests”, then fill in your name and address. They will be shipped out as soon as possible.

If you never requested your first four kits, there is still time to do so and you can receive 8 free kits in total.

Although the demand for COVID-19 testing is still high, it appears that fewer people are ordering the kits than before.

Nationwide, the number of COVID cases has dropped significantly since omicron’s winter peak, with the 7-day average dropping by 28 percent just from last week.

Visit COVIDTests.gov for more information about the tests and to sign up to receive them.
