DUBOIS — The DuBois City and Sandy Township Joint 10 Person Committee met Monday night and voted to move 11 items forward to the consultants. This move was approved by a 9-1 vote. City Manager Herm Suplizio and Sandy Township Manager Shawn Arbaugh both commented on how well they have been working together through this process.

The paving project on Maple Avenue is reportedly on schedule with everything expected to be completed by the end of October. It was also reported that the dredging of Sandy Lick of Creek continues and should be finished by the end of Summer.

SANDY TOWNSHIP –– At the Sandy Township Supervisors meeting last night, AQUA updated the Supervisors while also hearing community feedback. AQUA Area Manager Zach Martin reported that they are currently dealing with supply chain issues, but AQUA is hoping to have the new water station in place by the end of the year.

If you have water concerns, contact AQUA at the building on Beaver Drive or by contacting 1-800-565-7292.
