One of Ms. Hackett’s classes at the DuBois Area High School had won the Vocabulary.com vocabulary bowl one-day challenge. They had to use the app to review and learn new vocabulary words.
They do this all year, but this was a special one-day challenge that the app sponsored. Ms. Hackett’s class of 8 students mastered 530 new words on March 10th. Overall, the DuBois Area High School came in first place in the world for this challenge.
