Today we salute all the brave men and women won lost their lives on September 11th, 2001.
In observance of the federally-recognized September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, known today as “9/11 Day,” we dedicate time to help others in the spirit of service, unity and peace, in tribute to the victims of 9/11 and terrorism worldwide, first responders, and the many who have risen in service to defend freedom. Today, please do at least one good deed for someone else. For example: write a thank you note to a veteran or first responder, drop treats off at the police or fire station, visit a nursing home, smile at a stranger.
