The January Priority First Federal Credit Union Community Spotlight Recipient is the DuBois YMCA.
The YMCA’s Middle School Initiative Program has become one of the most popular programs for our youth in this community. It allows a friendly, healthy and safe environment for school-aged kids to come to our facility after school each day free of charge for the first year (as long as they go through our core training), and each year after that it is only $10 per month until they graduate. This not only helps the children but allows the parents the peace of mind that their babies are in a good place and can be picked up after they are done at work each night. Right in front of our building each evening. That is how a great Community Program works…. and we are very proud of ours!
