Want to do your part in spreading some holiday cheer?
Consider donating a new pair of socks for a local senior citizen with Socks for Seniors from Connect FM, sponsored by Christ the King Manor and H&R Block DuBois.
There are about 240 residents at the nursing home and skilled nursing portion of Christ the King Manor. We would love to be able to donate enough so that every resident could have a pair if they want one.
We’re still short of that goal though, so please help.
Warm the hearts and cover the cold feet of the elderly. You can drop off new socks at our studios at 12 West Long Avenue in Downtown DuBois, or at H&R Block in DuBois, until Dec. 21.
