Brookville, PA – Long-term lane closures on both Eastbound and Westbound interstate 80 between Exits 78 and 70.
PennDOT says this latest project on Interstate 80 includes milling, patching, and bridge preservation work. There will be multiple lane closures alternating between the left and right lanes both Eastbound and Westbound in Jefferson and Clarion counties.
The closures will be spaced at least five miles apart.
Brookville, PA – The waterline replacement project in Brookville continues.
PennDOT has announced that crews will be working at the intersection of Main Street-Route 322 and Route 36. Watch for flaggers at the intersection, and please use extra caution in the area. The project the replace the waterlines in Brookville is expected to be completed by the end of November.
Brookville, PA- In Jefferson County, just south of Brookville, PennDOT says you may encounter lane restrictions on Route 28 in Rose Township.
Road milling work between South Main Street and Seldom Seen Road will create the lane restrictions as both northbound and southbound lanes of Route 28 are switched from the temporary bypass road to the newly constructed portion of roadway.
Flagger crews will be directing traffic through the construction zone during daylight hours. The project is expected to be completed in November.
Falls Creek, PA – You may encounter traffic delays in Falls Creek due to a water line replacement project.
PennDOT said the work is going to affect Main Street, Route 830, in Falls Creek Borough, as the main water line is replaced. Work is scheduled Mondays through Thursdays and will include the area from the intersection of Main Street and Third Street to the end of Main Street in front of The Pine Inn Restaurant. Flaggers will be directing traffic at times.
The project will take several months to complete.
